How your data moves

  1. You approve access in Google.
  2. The private Hermes server makes the request.
  3. OpenAI processes only what the task needs.
  4. The answer returns to Bernard.

What it can reach

Only data from a Google account that Bernard has deliberately connected, and only for his personal productivity or school work.

  • Gmail

    Read and search messages, organize labels, manage drafts, and maintain categorization filters. Sending and deletion are disabled by design.

  • Calendar

    Read and manage calendars and events. Actions that affect other people require confirmation.

  • Drive

    Find and work with Drive files, Docs, and Sheets, including requested edits. Sharing, permission changes, and deletion require confirmation.

  • Contacts

    Read names and contact details to help identify people. Contact access is read-only.

How your data moves

  1. You grant access in Google. Google shows the requested permissions before an account is connected.

  2. Google APIs send requested information to Hermes. Tokens and operational state stay on the private self-hosted server.

  3. A request may need model processing. The necessary content can be sent to the configured model provider, currently OpenAI, to complete that request.

  4. The result comes back to Bernard. Requested information may remain in local conversation history, memory, or files until deleted or no longer needed.

Cloudflare Pages hosts only this public information site. It does not receive Google Workspace content from the Hermes integration.
