These terms apply to Bunad Hermes Agent, a private personal-use service operated by Bernard G. Tapiru, Jr. They describe the limits of the service and the responsibilities of anyone whose account is connected to it. By authorizing an account or using the private service, you agree to these terms.
What the service is
Bunad Hermes Agent is a self-hosted personal assistant used for Bernard's personal productivity and school work. It can work with explicitly authorized Google Workspace data and other integrations configured by Bernard. The public site at this address provides information only. It is not the private Hermes login and does not itself access Google data.
The service is not offered to the general public. Access may be limited, changed, suspended, or withdrawn by the operator at any time, including for maintenance, security, policy compliance, or loss of access to a third-party service.
Accounts you may authorize
You may connect only accounts you control or accounts you have clear permission to use with this service. You must not connect another person's, employer's, school's, or organization's account without authorization. You remain responsible for complying with Google, school, workplace, and other applicable account policies.
Do not use the service to access data you are not entitled to see, evade an access control, impersonate another person, distribute unlawful material, or interfere with another system or account.
Reviewing automated actions
Assistant output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing important results and automated actions before relying on them, especially messages, deadlines, event details, documents, sharing settings, and changes that affect another person.
The integration includes confirmation boundaries for higher-impact actions. Those boundaries reduce mistakes but do not replace your judgment. Never treat an assistant response as proof that a requirement was completed, a message was received, or a deadline changed unless the underlying source confirms it.
Privacy and Google user data
The privacy policy explains which Google data the integration can access, how it is used and processed, how long local copies may remain, and how to revoke access or request deletion. If these terms conflict with the privacy policy about data handling, the privacy policy controls that question.
Availability, warranties, and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis for private use. No promise is made that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that every third-party API will remain compatible. Features can change when Hermes, Google, a model provider, or the hosting environment changes.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party services and non-affiliation
Bunad Hermes Agent depends on services that have their own terms and policies, including Google APIs, the configured model provider, hosting infrastructure, and Cloudflare Pages for this public site. Those providers may change or end features independently of the operator.
Bunad Hermes Agent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or Ateneo de Manila University. Google, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets are names or marks of their respective owner.
Ending access
You may revoke Google access through Google Account permissions or ask Bernard to disconnect the account locally. Bernard may stop the service or remove an account when continued access is unauthorized, unsafe, unlawful, or incompatible with these terms. The privacy policy still applies to any retained local data until it is deleted.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service or applicable rules change. The new version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after the change means you accept the revised terms.
